I went for a stroll down to the local shop, and made myself some breakfast.
After eating and waking up my brain with some "bonte" games (if you don't know what these are "google" it they are super fun!), I settle in to play the first of my 1,000 hands online for the day.
I have of late only been playing heads up cash games online, and really working on my game. I am starting to get half decent (in my opinion anyway).
I find heads up cash games much more exciting and engaging than full ring or 6 max. Hopefully I will be able to get proficient enough to play $0.50-$1.00 and eventually $1-$2, and retire from live ring games and get back to grinding my bread money online. That's the plan anyway.
Heads up games are very volatile (especially versus aggressive opponents), and the swings can be pretty big at times, 3-5 buy swings during a session is pretty much the norm.
I was very lucky this morning to run into some big fish, unfortunately the poker gods for some reason are still fucked off with me and felt last night's punishment was not enough, so they dished out some nice beats for good measure.
Here are some highlights...
My AA no good versus JJ....all in pre. Meh! Standard spot I suppose, I just wish I could fade the river!
My AK is no match for the mighty AQ. Ahhh!
Well I got this guy here right? I even have one of his outs, got the money all in on the flop...
I am still pretty upbeat though! I still love my life! And Rosh and Rob, weee I love you boys! My room mates in Vegas!
Big shout out!
I am getting a little bit worried about Rob though, he has begun to play high stakes Omaha online, the pots are getting pretty big and emotions are running high!
I think its having an adverse effect on his sleep...

We are really worried about him...
OK, I am off to do more money at the casino now!
