Grinding hard in London...

Just got done playing my daily quota of 10,000 hands online. Easy life.

Grinding rake to pay rent, that's what its got to eh? Oh god! Its not as bad as it sounds I swear.

I fire up 12 tables of 6 max cash games, and 3 or so tournaments on the side. I then proceed to click away like a zombie.

I am going to hit it hard in January, my goal is to rake back $3,000. That is around 500,000 hands. I should be able to do that with a little effort.

I am really enjoying my life at the moment (believe it or not!), and am happy to be back in London.

I have switched to a more online concentrated schedule, planning to gradually fade away from playing live completely (hopefully by May / June 2010).

At the moment I am only playing live (at The Vic), on Tuesdays (though based on yesterday's games I may not), Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

I take Sundays off, play 10-15k hands online during non live playing days, and play 4-8k hands during the days I play live. So a pretty intense playing schedule.

What can I say, I am working hard. After the disappointment of Vegas (in terms of not bringing back a backpack of cash) I am determined more than ever to build my bankroll (and obviously keep a roof over my head!).

Though this blog has seemed to have excelled in reporting my loses, and failures I will break the trend and report on a rare occurrence: Yigit getting "hit by the deck"...

My first day at The Vic (last Saturday) I booked a £1.5k+ win during a 10 hour cash game session.

I played pretty average (actually somewhere in between poorly and average), I made several mistakes, and took some very questionable lines. But some days you just run good!

God I really needed it! Trust me!

So that's where I am at right now.

Working hard.

Keep grinding out that rake! Surely you have to hit one of these comps some time soon?

I am cursed, as soon as I save up some money I will see an exorcist, at which point I will win comps.

Simple game.

I am serious!

What were you doing at The Palms? What game was that? How much did you pull out of there?
